Inspirations
In this section I will add any inspirational items I come across or that have been sent to me.
This first item is a poem my son wrote when he was 16, eight years after my accident. This poem was published in a collection of young canadian poets.
HOPE MEETS INSPIRATION
By: Tanner McQueen
Who knew ones life could be turned upside down,
That his smile would turn into a frown
His family would never have seen it coming,
But now they are all running.
They are all in the hospital waiting to hear,
All that fills their head is fear
The doctor enters the room with shame,
To tell his family, that he will never be the same.
Six months later he is back where he belongs,
He has turned into a different man who is strong
His wife can’t accept the changes and feels betrayed,
So she asks him to move away
Three years later he has settled and is doing well,
She seems to have fallen so deep into hell.
She soon finds love from a different man,
Who is well know for being a yard man
The one who was thrown out,
Has gone and found himself a knockout
Proud to say they are living together,
He has found once again a lover
Both sides of the new family are happy,
But on the inside they are still family.
